How do Members book timed-entry ticket?

You can book your tickets for inside the Museum here. Make sure you log in, so that the admission fee will be waived. If you have any issues booking tickets online or if you want to reserve over the phone, please call our Call Center at (212) 485-9268.

Our free, outdoor exhibition Hope Wanted: New York City Under Quarantine is open through November 29, 2020, in our rear courtyard. You can book a separate ticket for Hope Wanted here.  

 

Can Members visit the Museum without a timed-entry ticket?

While you are welcome to visit at any time, we highly encourage booking your timed-entry ticket in advance due to capacity restrictions. You can always call the Call Center at (212) 485-9268 to find out availability.

 

Are there any Members-only time slots?

We are excited to offer a weekly Member Hour from 10–11 am on Fridays.

 

The Museum was closed for several months. Did you make any adjustments to memberships?

Yes, we extended all active memberships by three months.

 

When will I receive my membership card?

Our administrative staff is limited due to building capacity limitations, and we are unable to print new membership cards at this time. However, cards are not necessary—your membership is up to date in our system.

 

Is there still a Member discount on Public Programs?

Yes, the price for Public Program is $10 for Members and $20 for non-Members. View the full slate of programs here

 

What programs are you offering for Members only?

We have a weekly, remote series, Curator Confidential, that’s available exclusively to Members! Past program recordings can be found on our YouTube channel. Members can also attend our Virtual Presentations for free.

 

Can I use my Membership discount at the online store?

Members can also use their 10% discount at the online NYHistory Store. To activate the discount, email museumstore@nyhistoy.org

My employer is a Corporate Member. How do I book a timed-entry ticket?

Please reach out to your organization’s contact for the instructions on how to reserve tickets using your Corporate Membership benefits.

 

My local library has a Museum pass. How do I book a timed-entry ticket?

Once you reserve your library’s pass, they will provide you instructions for how to book a ticket on our website. If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to your library directly.
